Members of our supporter network are welcome to join us for a training on legislative advocacy, offered by Jill Ashton of the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women. The basics of how a bill becomes a law and how to advocate with your legislators will be covered, followed by a deeper dive into MCSW’s priority legislation that YW Boston also supports.
If you plan to participate with YW Boston in MCSW Advocacy Day at the State House on May 17, we recommend that you attend this training. However, all are welcome at the training, and you do not need to participate in Advocacy Day to attend.
