Beth Chandler, YW Boston’s Chief Operating Officer, was interviewed by NBC News at the Fight Supremacy! Rally on Saturday, August 19th. YW Boston participated in the march as a response to the white supremacist “Free Speech” rally on the Boston Common. Beth was asked how she felt about the term “free speech,” to which she replied, “There’s a difference to me with hateful speech and free speech. And a lot of what the separatists are saying is hateful speech and there’s not a place for that in our country.”
