In 2015, Emily joined YW Boston to support the Health and Wellness team as a Community Health Educator. Her role involves facilitating health and wellness workshops for women in marginalized communities. As a bilingual Spanish and English speaker, Emily develops curriculum sensitive to the cultural needs of Spanish-speaking communities.
Prior to joining YW Boston, Emily served as the director of CORES (Committee on Refugees from El Salvador) where she managed a program which taught English and Civics to immigrants. A graduate of Tufts University, Emily holds two bachelor’s degrees in Spanish and Community Health.
