Lin (Kaitlin) Pang
Lin joined YW Boston in June 2016 to support the InIt program. Lin coordinates school and organization partnerships, manages recruitment of student delegates and volunteers, and advises students on their Community Action Projects.
Prior to YW Boston, Lin coordinated high school youth programs in Boston’s Chinatown at the Chinese Progressive Association and Asian Community Development Corporation. Outside of work they are the founder and coach of a youth slam poetry team through A-WAY (Allies Working with Asian Youth) for Louder Than A Bomb! Massachusetts.
Lin has a B.A. in American Studies with a focus on Race and Ethnic Studies from Tufts University, where they did on-campus organizing and represented Tufts at the national college poetry slam. They are passionate about youth power and art as a form of resistance and healing. When not working or writing, Lin can be found reading queer fiction or taking photos of people and places.
