It’s time for YW Boston and our supporters to gather and reflect on the past year’s accomplishments toward our mission of eliminating racism and empowering women.

Join us at The Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA/Boston) Tuesday, November 15th for our Annual Meeting from 5:00 to 8:30 PM. The program will include remarks from YW Boston President & CEO Beth Chandler, induction of new members of the Board of Directors (Ivy Jack, Ellen LaPointe, and Ross Marshall), and a preview of our 2022 Impact Report.

We will be hosted by Jill Medvedow, the Ellen Matilda Poss Director of Boston’s Institute of Contemporary Art. Medvedow is recognized as a national leader in the field of contemporary art and civic life. She dramatically altered the landscape of contemporary art in Boston when, in 2006, she opened the city’s first new art museum in nearly a century. During her over 20-year tenure, Medvedow established the museum’s permanent collection; developed a national model for teen arts education; and opened the ICA Watershed, transforming a condemned former copper pipe factory in East Boston into a free and open space for immersive works of art.  Medvedow will deliver the annual meeting’s keynote address.

YW Boston’s Annual Meeting is free and open to the public.
