YW Boston is pleased to partner with the Boston College School of Social Work on the 13th annual Pinderhughes Diversity Lecture. The lecture, entitled “An Ounce of Prevention: Building Communities of Opportunity to Mitigate Structural Inequities and Childhood Adversities” will feature Renee D. Boynton-Jarrett, MD, ScD, Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Boston University School of Medicine and Founding Director of Vital Village Community Engagement Network.

The Pinderhughes Diversity Lecture Series brings changemakers to campus to speak about pressing topics within the field. The series honors Boston College Professor Emerita Elaine Pinderhughes, whose vision and mentorship has long inspired students to advocate for social progress.
