Evan Hines currently serves as InclusionBoston Manager for small to medium organizations.
Evan is a seasoned social justice practitioner who uses his significant experience in leadership, motivating and inspiring others, relationship building, business development, collaborative problem solving, and grass roots organizing to actualize real change for people and their communities.
Prior to joining YW Boston, Evan has held several senior-level and officer positions, including serving as Executive Director of the Melnea Cass Recreational Center and Roxbury Heritage State Park, Development Director for the Department of Conservation and Recreation, Chief Executive Officer for the Eliot Educational Center, and Co-chair for the Boston Capacity Tank.
Evan holds a Doctorate in Ministry from Northern Seminary, a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Baruch College, a Master’s degree in Theological Studies from Boston University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Boston College. He currently serves on the Roxbury Community College Foundation Board and is a member of the Black Ministerial Alliance. If asked about the achievements he is most proud of, Evan would quickly respond that his ability to continue to make Erica, his amazing wife of 30 years, smile and having raised three strong daughters who are now boldly creating places for themselves in the world.
