As the Advocacy and Public Policy Coordinator Jordan is invested in seeing YW’s mission of eliminating racism and empowering women accomplished in the governance of Massachusetts. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest Jordan moved to Boston for school and is honored to be an advocate for the advancement of inclusive and equitable policy in Massachusetts. She enjoys learning about new policy initiatives and facilitating YW’s Advocacy Committee as they identify policy priorities and formulate advocacy strategies.
Jordan plans on graduating with her B.A. in Economics and History from Simmons University in May 2021. Prior to working at YW she interned for the Boston Mayor’s Office of Women’s Advancement and a healthcare nonprofit in Portland, OR.
