As an InclusionBoston Manager, Rebecca provides support to client organizations to create sustainable organizational change towards inclusion and equity. As a Relationship Manager, Rebecca supports organizations to honor the unique contributions and motivations of each individual, to ultimately take collective action to create conditions for everyone to succeed.

Rebecca brings over a decade of experience facilitating dialogues, building relationships, and collaborative problem solving. Her work has focused on building inclusive communities based in common interests, cross-cultural understanding, and shared appreciation of each member as a unique individual.

Rebeccaā€™s journey as a Community Builder started at YW Boston in 2010, when she was trained as a volunteer facilitator of the Community Dialogues on Race. She then founded and led the musical community Voices of Harmony, creating a space where people from diverse backgrounds can come together to learn, perform music from cultures around the world, and engage in meaningful cross-cultural dialogue. In 2014 Rebecca joined Big Sister Boston, where she supported friendships between Big Sisters (adult volunteers) and Little Sisters (youth with marginalized genders from all around the metro-Boston area) based on fun activities and common interests. Over 7 years, Rebecca supported thousands of these relationships, by observing and analyzing cultural differences, coaching with nuance and compassion, and honoring individualsā€™ needs and capacities.

The achievements Rebecca is most proud of outside work are: That she backpacked around Europe for 6 months and self-published a book of her photos from that time; As well as the incredible journey of parenthood that she and her partner Scott have been on since their daughter Penelope was born in November of 2018.
