Ronald Harvey

Ronald Harvey became a part of YW Boston in January 2021, taking on the role of Executive / Organization Assistant. He plays a pivotal role in bolstering our leadership team, contributing his expertise across various domains, from calendar coordination to project oversight. Additionally, Ronald serves as an Administrator for the Board of Directors, providing essential administrative support. His dedication extends to backing the CEO’s speaking engagements and external affairs, further strengthening our organizational outreach.

Ronald takes pride in his responsibility as the Chair of the Equity Steering Committee, where he actively contributes to shaping and promoting equity initiatives within the organization. As of 2023, he has also assumed a position on the Hoops and Homework Board of Directors, reflecting his ongoing commitment to community engagement.

Before joining YW Boston, Ronald’s professional journey included a tenure at Framingham Public Schools as the assistant office manager for a district middle school. In this capacity, he led after-school clubs that centered on youth engagement with the arts. Collaborating with artists, he orchestrated events and workshops that bridged the gap between young individuals and the local arts scene.

Ronald’s multifaceted background encompasses his involvement as an Operation Associate with The Achievement Network. During his time there, he contributed significantly to the organization’s expansion, aiding in the establishment of out-of-state network offices and contributing to effective office management practices and budgeting.

Originally from Southern California, Ronald made his mark in the New England region after graduating from Franklin Pierce College in 2004 with a degree in English and Graphic Communications. His passion for culinary exploration and sharing knowledge led him to create virtual cooking lessons for children and share insights from his experiences in a commercial kitchen. Through his personal endeavors, he forms connections and fosters relationships that amplify his impact beyond the professional sphere.
