Yumey Espinoza
Mey attended Wheelock College and obtained her Bachelors in Social Work and Juvenile Justice then started her career at Casa Myrna as a case manager for the emergency residential program. In the summer of 2017, she was appointed the Youth Engagement and Prevention Manager and spearheaded the youth department for 5 years with a focus on outreach, education and prevention of domestic violence. During her time in Casa Myrna, she expanded her skills and took advantage of professional development opportunities including a fellowship with the Tufts Institute of Nonprofit Management and has been awarded certificates in Transformational Diversity Equity and Inclusion by the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. During her free time Mey enjoys traveling to new places, and cooking new recipes.
