Intergenerational Women’s Leadership Summit: Under Pressure – The Invisible Load of Caregiving
Intergenerational Women’s Leadership Summit: Under Pressure – The Invisible Load of Caregiving
Across generations, women are disproportionately navigating increasing demands of caregiving: raising children, supporting aging parents, sustaining families, caring for communities, managing relationships, and carrying invisible responsibilities that often go unseen and unsupported.
As expectations continue to evolve, many women are feeling the pressure of balancing care, leadership, and responsibility across every space where they show up: at home, at work, in their communities, and in the relationships and systems that depend on them. The result? A growing care gap: an invisible but powerful force shaping wellbeing, identity, burnout, leadership, relationships, and our ability to sustainably care for ourselves and others.
Date: Wednesday, July 15th
Time: 9am-4:30pm EDT
Location: The Maso Studio @ The Huntington Theatre, 264 Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02115
This one-day, interactive summit brings together women leaders across generations to explore:
- How caregiving realities, expectations, and pressures are shifting across generations
- How invisible labor shapes leadership, identity, relationships, and wellbeing
- Where misunderstanding, tension, and inequity emerge across generations and systems
- How we can create more sustainable cultures of care in our families, communities, workplaces, and beyond
- What practical, realistic actions leaders can take within their own spheres of influence
Through guided experiences, facilitated dialogue, reflective exercises, and cross-generational exchange, participants will move beyond surface-level conversation into shared understanding, strategic insight, and concrete action.
This is more than a conference; it is a transformational leadership experience designed to help participants rethink how they lead, care for others, and create change in the spaces where they hold influence.
