LeadBoston celebrates 30 years of inclusive leadership development
Since 1991, LeadBoston has been building a pipeline of accomplished leaders who are advancing equity and inclusion all over Boston. This year, YW Boston’s signature leadership program is celebrating its 30th Anniversary with the graduating Class of 2021. Over the years, LeadBoston has selected more than 1,000 competitive applicants to participate in this program and gain the knowledge, skills, and network necessary to increase equity within their organizations and communities.
The LeadBoston experience is deeply enriching and unique, ensuring participant diversity with respect to gender, race, ethnicity, and professional background. It is imperative for today’s leaders to be responsive to increased demands for racial equity. As leaders think about diversity, equity, and inclusion, they must understand how their organizations both impact and are influenced by systems.
