Maddie is a Project Associate with the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC)’s Finance and Administration division where she ensures smooth operational systems, project management, and Board communications. She is also the Organizing Steward of her union’s UniteHere! Local where she collaborates with management and advocates for her colleague’s dignity, safety, and fair wages on the job. A seasoned nonprofit professional with prior legal and legislative experience, Maddie is committed to supporting initiatives that advance sustainability, equity, and human rights. 

Born and raised in the Greater Boston area, Maddie attended Bates College where she studied Political Science and Gender and Sexuality Studies. They have a Master in Public Administration from the University of Massachusetts, Boston with a certificate in Gender, Leadership and Public Policy.

In their downtime, Maddie enjoys their book club’s latest pick, making art with friends, and going for a run. They reside in Cambridge with their cat Luna.
