Tina Nguyen joined YW Boston in January 2020 with a a longstanding commitment to leadership, equity, and community engagement. As Director of Operations, she leads cross-functional initiatives that strengthen organizational infrastructure, improve employee engagement, and support sustainable growth. Her work spans across finance and accounting functions, IT management, talent acquisition, internal communications, and operational planning.

Throughout her career, she has had a knack for creating systems that improve organizational effectiveness. Before joining YW Boston, she supported academic operations at Boston University, where she coordinated large-scale meetings and events, managed financial and procurement processes, and provided administrative and technology support across multiple departments. Her early career also includes experience in higher education admissions, IT support, and direct service within the nonprofit sector.

Tina holds a Master of Science in Global Marketing Management from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Women’s, Gender, and Sexualities Studies from Brandeis University. She currently is on the Leadership Team of NAAAP (National Association of Asian American Professionals) as the Director of WIN (Women in NAAAP).

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, lifting heavy things, and staying in the loop with all things pop culture.
