Advocacy Committee

YW Boston's advocacy committee is a group of dedicated volunteers who work together to drive YW Boston's coalition-building, policy, and legislative initiatives. Members meet monthly and serve for 2-3 years, collaborating in subcommittees focused on education and childcare, civil rights and racial justice, and gender equity. Grounded in YW Boston's mission to eliminate racism and empower women, the committee works to create more inclusive environments for women, people of color, and especially women of color.
