YW Boston President and CEO Beth Chandler will be a featured panelist for a discussion on inclusion at the Nonprofit Board Summit, hosted by the Harvard Business School Association (HBSAB) and CAP on March 25th from 2:30 to 7:30 pm at the Federal Reserve Building. The half-day summit, Being a Member of a High Impact Board, offers three concurrent panels on building a high impact nonprofit board.

Beth Chandler will be participating on the panel “Inclusion as a Key Component of Organizational Impact and Effectiveness,” which will engage nonprofit board members in discussion about the critical importance of creating an inclusive environment in their organizations. The panel will be moderated by Tiziana Dearing of WBUR and Boston College. Also joining Beth on the panel will be Jocelyn Sargent, Executive Director of the Hyams Foundation and Teresa Rodriguez, Board Member of the Trinity Boston Foundation.

Attendees can choose to attend the Inclusion panel or one of two other concurrent panels: Hallmarks of Highly Effective Boards and The Power of Partnerships in a Changing World. All three concurrent panels will cover timely and important challenges facing the nonprofit community. Following a keynote by HBS Professor Warren McFarlan, there will be a reception and opportunity to network with other nonprofit board members.
