Objectives
Our March program day will focus on the effects of class and poverty on Boston’s residents, exploring how they impact various identities and the structural factors that help or hinder community and personal economic opportunity. Our objectives are:
- To understand the entrenched nature of poverty in Boston
- To identify which populations are most impacted by poverty
- To explore the impact of race, gender, and class on economic opportunity

Pre-work
Complete the following readings before our program day:
